What's Black and White With Hints of Red? Christmas Parties, Of Course!

'Tis the time of year where we play our favorite 90's pop stars' Christmas songs Christmas music's on repeat. Thank god for Spotify. Am I right? It's also that time of year for endless holiday parties filled with sequins dresses and red lips.

While our budgets are reserved for buying gifts for loved ones, I'm taking to my closet and make up bag for to create a holiday look from what I already own.

Here are my must-haves to keep your skin looking dewy in the frosty weather, your cheeky rosy, your eyes smokey, and your lips luscious during the holiday season.
Lips: Revlon's Crayon Lipstick in Striking. Nars Lip Gloss in Larger Than Life. Mac Lipstick in Diva. Laura Mercier Moisturizing Supreme Foundation in Sunny Beige. Mac Blush in Blushbaby. OPI Nailpolish in Visions of Love. MAC Eyeshadow in Satin Taupe and Expensive Pink. Bobbi Brown in Golden Light. Clinique Color Correcting Primer. Chanel in 42 Beige Rose. Loreal's Voluminous Mascara in Carbon. MACs Limited Edition Eye Liner but Kohl Power Eye Liner.

For my first Christmas party of the season I wore a  Tophop Romper I bought this summer with last season's Anthropologie x Bauble Bar earrings (this year's version is displayed above), and last season's metallic pumps. For the perfect red lip I always rely on Revlons lip crayon and NARS lip gloss. The gloss gives you the perfect shine. This time, I went a little deeper and opted for a more sultry red - MAC's Matte Lipstick in Diva was the cherry on this white cake.

Think Pink

The runway shows spit out many trends back in September. One of the clearest was the use of pastels- blush and bubble gum pink, lavender, and powder blue. Not a revelation to show pastels for spring, but the return to ultra feminine looks and softer polished ensembles caught on in both London and Paris. You already see the racks of Topshop and Zara lined with full skirts, pencil skirts, and crop tops in all the on trend colors.

Sea of Green

It's been a while since I've posted, but I guess I've had a hard time deciding how I'd transition back to spring time from the fall shows. And seeing how its about 75 degrees everyday I think that's cause enough to post a spring-related post.

TopShop Unique

The best part about seeing TopShop Unique come down the runway is knowing that you can one day be wearing it. Unlike most fashion week designers, Topshop Unique is more affordable at around £200. I want that entire third look. Thanks for Miuccia Prada, pleated skirts are everywhere this spring and it is undoubtably she who is responsible for making pleated skirts popular for fall.
