When Ordering Coffee

It's become a staple in our everyday routine. Make it when you wake up, grab it on your way to work, sit it at your desk, but if you're not mindful those cups of coffee can add up.

I avoid lattes or cappuccinos since baristas tend to add about 3/4 a cup of milk to the order. Instead I ask for regular coffee or iced depending on the season. If you do prefer espresso to brewed coffee, americanos will be your best friend. Add sugar free syrup to had flavor and sweetness.

Always use skim or 1% milk if you take your coffee with milk. I personally like to use soy since it's a little sweeter than milk and acts as my sweetener and creamer at the same time. A cup is 100 calories so having about a third cup will lighten your coffee and only amount to 30 calories.

Light. Sweet. Delicious!

Enjoy an artisan latte or cappuccino as a snack with a small piece of fruit such as a plum, peach, or cup of berries.
